A ‘Work in Progress’ blog.

Over the next few months we will be wondering the haunted streets of Brighton, London and York as part of a small project reflecting on how we express and perform situated histories. How are our experiences of place cultivated through these ghostly walking tours? Where does a haunted history begin and end?  How does the corporeal and the phantasmagorical mingle through these dark places? What can we learn from forays into this type of dark tourism?

Over the next few months we hope to have some guest posts from members of the research team and posts reflecting on what it is  that anthropologists ‘do’.
